International Workshop Interactive Systems & Information Society Technologies (InterSys-2024) is a joint event held by BITS Pilani (Dubai Campus), ITMO University (St. Petersburg, Russia), Jinan Institute of Supercomputing Technology (Shandong, China), and Federal University of Paraná (UFPR, Curitiba, Brazil) on May 16–17, 2024 as a part of the International Conference Internet and Modern Society (IMS-2024). This year, we plan to have the workshop in face-to-face mode.
The objective of the InterSys-2024 workshop is to engage in comprehensive discussions addressing challenges and opportunities within the realm of developing interactive technologies in the digital environment. The focus is on exploring and dissecting the complexities associated with of advancing interactive systems across various sectors, including science, education, healthcare, business, public administration, and civil society.

LOCATION
The main workshop session will be hosted by the BITS Pilani (Dubai Campus), whereas the supplementary session might be held by ITMO University (St. Petersburg, Russia) within the main IMS-2024 conference.

SUBMISSION
- The contributions must be submitted in form of Full research paper (10-12 pages) and present original unpublished work from the authors
- Manuscripts submitted to the InterSys2024 workshop must be prepared using the Springer template
- All submissions must be done via the Microsoft CMT system the EasyChair system
All submitted papers and abstracts will undergo double-blind peer review by the Program Committee. The authors of accepted papers will need to improve their paper on the basis of reviewers’ comments and will be asked to send a camera-ready version of their manuscripts.
At least one author of each paper accepted to InterSys-2024 must pay a full registration, attend the workshop and present the work.
PROCEEDINGS
The accepted and presented papers will be included in the InterSys-2024 Proceedings, which will be sent to Springer for publishing and indexing in Scopus.
The authors of the best papers will be invited to publish significantly extended versions of their work in the Journal of Interactive Systems (an open access journal maintained by the Brazilian Computer Society – DBLP indexing) or the International Journal of Open Information Technologies (approved by the Russian Higher Attestation Commission).
REGISTRATION
The registration fees are defined and collected by the respective representatives of the hosting universities. The fees for BITS Pilani (Dubai Campus) are as follows:
